Domain Shane: My main focus over the past couple of years has been on buying domains with the intention of listing them on the various brandable platforms. I know that many of you take issue with the commission structure at these marketplaces, and that is fair. 25% to 35% is high compared to selling via other avenues. But there are many positives to listing your names on these marketplaces, and if you are relatively new to this domaining thing, I highly recommend you sign up and start submitting your brandable names. It forces you to accept feedback from people who have some experience figuring out whether or not there are many companies out there who are likely to want your domain in the future – which should be the main reason you would invest in a domain in the first place. Personally, I’ve really upped my game since shifting my focus to these types of names. I’ve included a nice list of brandable type names with one or no bids below that I feel would be accepted at at least one of the marketplaces. I would and may buy any of them, but I’ll give you guys first dibs.
Other Names Up for Auction
BookYourStay.com decent three word travel name with a reasonable reserve – depending on which side of the reserve range it is.
vivimax.com cool sounding brand for a company in the visual / design space. It could be yours for $79 – no bids.
InstantKarma.com John Lennon song
MrBack.com decent chiropractor name
GoldWorm.com everything gold is good – even worms
Godaddy Domains With Multiple Bids
CloudFlow.com highest valuation on the board
AskSanta.com it pays to trick kids with a Santa site
UltraRed.com cool brand name
UrbanWoods.com it’s nice when they don’t mow down every tree in sight
RoboticsDesign.com not your typical design name – actually a little generic when used for actual robotics design
hcity.com I’m not going to check, but I’ll bet every letter+the word city is taken
Lead360.com very nice lead brand – 360 is a number where you know people will use the numerics when they type it out
TheCopywriter.com I’m not a fan of the way most of these The names sound, but they certainly sell well
SportCube.com a facility or a product
SpinBet.com very nice short, memorable and relevant gambling name
AdaptiveStudios.com I like design, lab, and studio names, but the problem is the singular is used as much as the plural
TextClub.com GD valuation near $5k, but what will it be used for?
CoinGuys.com this works for crypto or old school coins
OnlineVoucher.com pretty generic, but it works
ListedBy.com good one for real estate
tabulous.com fabulous tablet related products or software
LegalHost.com this is one that sounds fantastic because of the keywords but then you start to wonder who will do something with it
OceanOil.com lots of potential buyers for this one
ReserveSpace.com any kind of space
DentalTube.com this one is interesting because of the GD valuation of almost $5k. It doesn’t seem like either keyword would push the valuation that high, and they are even weirder together. DentalTube.biz was sold in the past (for $100) so maybe there is heavy weighting in their tool for previous sales of other extensions.
StevenKing.com the wrong spelling of Stephen in this case but that is a pretty strong alternate spelling name
GoGreenhouse.com Shane spends a lot of time in them
BeeSet.com cute brandable for a financial planner or something like that
TheMusicZone.com great name for a small venue concert place
CoinStatistics.com crypto analytics
Godaddy Domains With One Or No Bids
NutsOnly.com yep, nuts
SpainAdventure.com geo travel name
CryptoKindness.com crypto charity
SecureYourSix.com military / security brand
If you follow this these types of names, there are some nice ones in here.
